In a move that’s set to redefine convenience for its customers, Faysal Bank Ltd (FBL), one of Pakistan’s leading Islamic banks, is stepping into the digital spotlight with an exciting new feature. Starting now, Faysal Noor and debit cardholders can add their cards to Google Wallet, making payments smoother, faster, and completely contactless.

Google Wallet, the globally renowned mobile payment service, officially launched in Pakistan on March 12th, and Faysal Bank is among the first to jump on board. This partnership means Faysal Bank customers can now digitize their cards and use them at millions of merchants worldwide—yes, including right here in Pakistan.

The launch event, held at Faysal House, was a star-studded affair. Siew Chen Way, Google Pay’s Head of Payment Partnerships, was there to mark the occasion. She shared her excitement, saying, *“Faysal Bank has always been a pioneer in digital innovation in Pakistan, and we’re thrilled to partner with them as we bring Google Wallet to the market.”*

Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO of Faysal Bank Ltd, also took the stage, highlighting the significance of this collaboration. *“The launch of Google Wallet in Pakistan is a game-changer for the country’s digital payments ecosystem,”* he said. *“By integrating with Google Wallet, we’re giving our customers yet another way to enjoy seamless, cashless transactions. This is a big step forward in our mission to deliver innovative, digital-first solutions.”*

The event also saw the presence of FBL’s senior Digital and Consumer Banking team members, as well as representatives from the bank’s technology partners, Euronet and Thales. It was a true celebration of innovation and collaboration.

So, how can Faysal Bank customers get started? It’s simple:

1. Download Google Wallet from the Google Play Store.
